Individuals or pairs were present on 86% of unburned forest transects, which was much higher than expected based on previous studies.

Like our other DSTs, the two-page document is intended for managers, conservation resource professionals, and anyone else that is interested in how our science can be used to make decisions that incorporate bird and habitat conservation objectives.
